Privacy notice
How Fylde Tech uses personal information, in plain English. Last updated 12 October 2026.
Who we are
Fylde Tech Ltd decides how the personal information described here is used. You can contact us about it at hello@fyldetech.co.uk.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, business name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us about your project.
- When you become a client: contact and billing details, and the information we need to deliver your project.
- When we contact you first: business contact details from public sources, such as your company's website or Companies House.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, because you asked us to.
- To deliver our services and invoice you, under our contract with you.
- To keep accounting records, because the law requires it.
- To tell businesses about services that may help them, in our legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time.
If we contacted you first
We sometimes email businesses whose work suggests we could help. We use business contact details only, every email tells you how to opt out, and if you ask us to stop, we will. We keep a note of your request so we don't contact you again.
Who we share it with
Only with providers who help us run the business, such as email, hosting and accounting services, under contracts that protect your information. If information is transferred outside the UK, we use the safeguards UK law requires. We never sell personal information.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years.
- Client and accounting records: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to.
- Opt-out requests: for as long as we need to honour them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and object to marketing at any time. Email hello@fyldetech.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
